Cataluña concentra el 22,4% del total del gasto de los turistas extranjeros en el Estado Los turistas extranjeros que visitaron Cataluña en octubre gastaron 1.459 millones de euros, un 4,8% más que el gasto generado el mismo mes del año anterior, según los datos de la Encuesta de Gasto Turístico (Egatur ) del INE. En los diez primeros meses del año, los extranjeros han dejado 15.407 millones, el 3,6% más que en el mismo periodo del año pasado. El gasto medio diario de los foráneos fue de 176 euros, un 20,2% más que en octubre de 2015. Hasta octubre, Cataluña ha absorbido el 22,4% del total de los gastos realizados por los extranjeros que han visitado el Estado.
