Nature is the quintessential quality brand in our town
Its imprint is centenary and generous. Mountain, valley, orchard, river Ter, wetlands, beach, dunes, coves, islands. Over time, the balance between man and earth becomes fragile, and the tools needed to restore it are created. The effort of this work is consolidated with the Law of declaration of the Natural Park of the Montgrí, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter. Our municipality contributes to the park 68% of its total surface, that is of 8,192 hectares (23 % marine surface and 77% land surface).
