Cala de la Costa Brava located north of Tamariu, in the municipality of Palafrugell, to access the cove you must park your car in the urbanization of Aigua Xelida and go down some stairs that lead directly to the cove.
It is about 46 meters long and the beach is made up of stones and surrounded by rocks and pine trees.
Thanks to the crystal clear waters, the whole area is ideal for snorkeling or diving.
Until 1950 it was an isolated meeting point, which helped keep the cove and surrounding pine forests isolated and pristine.
If you miss any type of boat, it is essential to visit the spectacular Gispert cave.
In 2009, this cove was the icon of the Costa Brava and resulted in the winning landscape of the TV program · «El paisaje favorito de Catalunya»
.
